1. Being the contact person between the PA and the school
2. Running the PA
a. Collate agendas and notices for, and then chair AGM, 4 general meetings and
approx., 3 committee meetings per year.
b. Occasional letters to e.g. employers to help donations.
c. Help Treasurer and Secretary with regular stuff (see charity commission etc)
d. Look after our Volunteers email list (and be mindful of data protection
regulations)
e. Replying to parents' emails.
f. DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) checks on helpers (normally not needed, but
school can ask for them, and we used them for 5 familiarisation test)
g. Maintaining our page on School website, our own website
h. From local council: License for raffle, alcohol license
Events Team Lead:
This is a new role, partly to take some of the pressure off the Chair.

c. Raffle: compose letters to ‘sponsors’ for prizes, tickets and instructions printed,
distribution, collect and manage money, organise draw etc.
d. Year 7 disco: Arrange DJ, sound technician, Food, table and layout, crockery, online
ticket sales, recruit and manage PA, volunteers, posters/ flyers, advance notices,
investigating safe – keeping rules, marshalling entry and pick up, first aiders, event
insurance
